Description
The Redarc SBI12 is a microprocessor-controlled battery isolator which preserves the main starting battery from excessive discharge whilst utilizing the auxiliary battery to power up your accessories. The solenoids are recognized throughout Australia for reliability & simplicity in 4WD and commercial grade applications, this is the reason why Off Road Downunder is proud to have Redarc Isolators as part of our product range.
The Redarc SBI12 primarily monitors the main start battery voltage. Once the start battery reaches 13.2 volts, the solenoid automatically connects the auxiliary battery to the charging system.
When the whole system drops to 12.7 volts the solenoid opens and isolates the start battery from the auxiliary battery. This ensures you should never have a drained start battery again.
